Registrations for the Great Northern 6 Pack (full series) have now closed.  Registration for the 600km Half Carton is open until 25 August 2018.

Day Ride Registrations are available for all rides in the 6 Pack.  Join us for one or two (or more) of the series rides.  Day riders will need to organise their own transport to and from rides, meals and accommodation.  Gear transport and support en-route is included.  Details are on the Audax calendar.

Series Costs

Costs are based on a ride participation fee and accommodation fee.

The ride participation fee include all rides, meals as indicated, baggage transport between sites, gear storage in Cairns, series medal (for 6 Pack series), insurance and volunteer support.

Registration for non-members is an additional $10 per ride insurance (ie: $60 for 6 Pack and $10 per day for day riders).

The accommodation fee is based on accommodation in shared cabins or shared motel rooms in each location (Mossman, Mareeba, Atherton).  An additional night’s accommodation in Tully is included with the Half Carton (600km).

Members – $560 plus accommodation

Non-members – $620 plus accommodation

Accommodation (5 nights) – shared cabins or motel rooms $328

Bag transport and storage

Transport will be provided for bags between each site.  Storage will be available in Cairns for baggage and bike boxes not required during the series.

Meals

All breakfasts are included (excluding Saturday 1 September 2018).

Riders need to purchase their own lunches.

Basic supplies will be provided at most Controls (eg: fruit, snacks, water).

Most evening meals are included.

• Sunday 2 September 2018 (Mossman)
• Monday 3 September 2018 (Mareeba)
• Wednesday 5 September 2018 (dinner and 6 Pack medals presentation in Atherton)
• Thursday 6 September 2018 (meal on arrival for 6 Pack riders at the Holiday Inn  in Cairns)

Six Pack riders need to purchase their evening meal in Atherton on Tuesday 4 September 2017.

There is an optional breakfast at the Salt House (Cairns Pier) on Sunday 9 September 2018 to celebrate the conclusion of the 6 Pack and Half Carton 600km ride.

Sightseeing available

Discounted entries have been organised for all participants to Hartley’s Creek Crocodile Adventures and Daintree River Cruises.

There is no additional cost for Mt Uncle Distillery, the Mako Track, the Daintree cross-river ferry and the Mt Emerald Wind Farm presentation.

Series medal

An engraved series medal will be presented to all participants in the 6 Pack series.

Choose your challenge –

• 6 X 200km rides for a Full Strength medal;
• At least 3 x 200km rides, and 3 x 100km rides for a Mid Strength medal;
• 6 x 100km rides for a Light Strength medal.
• Or a special “Thanks for Coming” medal…….

Jersey

Registrations for the series jersey have now closed.  Jerseys will be available for collection at registration (unless you have opted for it to be sent to you).
